Case Studies
Mitchell Freeway Extension
The $209 million project consists of two lanes in each direction with the capacity to add a third lane in the future. It saw the freeway extend from Burns Beach Road in Joondalup to Hester Avenue in Clarkson.
MRIA Murdoch Drive Connection
The Australian Federal and State Governments $100 million Murdoch Drive Connection project extending Murdoch Drive south from Farrington Road to provide connections to Roe Highway and Kwinana Freeway.
North Link Stage 3
The Northlink Stage 3 Project involves the construction of a free-flowing dual carriageway between Ellenbrook and Muchea, resulting in a fit-for purpose section of this national highway with four lanes taking most of the heavy traffic away from Great Northern Highway.
Karel Avenue Upgrade
As part of the Karel Avenue Upgrade project, Karel Avenue is being widened from Farrington Road to the Berrigan Drive roundabout, including modifications to the roundabout approaches to enable two lanes in each direction.
NEWest Ranford Rd
FSC has been contracted to deliver FRP scopes and drainage package including the delivery of Ranford Rd Bridge.
Tonkin Gap
The Tonkin Gap Project will address the current bottleneck where the highway reduces from three lanes to two lanes in Bayswater and Redcliffe, provide rail-enabling works for METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook Line along Tonkin Highway including underpasses and dive structures, to enable trains to enter and travel along the median of Tonkin Highway then exit in Malaga.
