On Friday night, FSC Civils was awarded the Michael Parker Gender Inclusion Award at the CCIWA Diversity and Inclusion Awards.
To say we’re proud would be an understatement. This award represents the values we live by every day — creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, included, and empowered to thrive.
A huge thank you to CCIWA for recognising the efforts of businesses championing diversity and inclusion across Western Australia. The event itself was inspiring, showcasing so many organisations making a real difference.
Most importantly, thank you to the incredible FSC team — your ongoing commitment to inclusion, equity, and respect makes achievements like this possible.
We are thrilled to share that FSC has been announced as a Finalist in the 2025 CCIWA Diversity & Inclusion Awards, in the Michael Parker Gender Inclusion Award category alongside industry leaders BHP and Synergy.
This recognition highlights our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities through Bridge by FSC, a program designed to break down barriers and open pathways into civil construction for women, Aboriginal job seekers, career changers, and those historically underrepresented in our industry.
To every mentor, colleague, and participant who has contributed this is your achievement. You’re proving every day that inclusion builds stronger teams, stronger careers and a stronger industry.
Congratulations to all the finalists who are shaping a more inclusive future for WA. We can’t wait to celebrate together at the Gala in November.

FSC is delighted to announce that we are approaching the successful completion of our scope on the Byford Rail Extension Project – WA’s Tallest and Longest continuous elevated rail . Our contribution to this significant infrastructure endeavor has encompassed the delivery of a 1.5-kilometer elevated viaduct, a remarkable feat achieved through the integration of over 50,000 tons of precast materials, 2,800 tons of steel, and 8,000 cubic meters of concrete. This monumental accomplishment stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment, expertise, and tireless efforts of our team, who have worked around the clock, with a peak workforce of 250 personnel on site.
In addition to these technical achievements, the project has served as a platform for the successful implementation of our SAFE Together campaign—a company-wide safety initiative designed to promote accountability, heighten awareness, and foster a culture of support. This milestone underscores our dedication to both operational excellence and the well-being of our people.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all individuals and teams who have contributed to the realisation of this landmark project, which will enhance connectivity and support the continued growth of Perth’s south-eastern corridor.
FSC is delighted to be awarded the FRP scope of works at Fremantle Bridge, as part of the Swan River Crossings Project. This milestone represents another opportunity for us to contribute to a landmark infrastructure project in WA. We’re proud to play a role in building a stronger, more connected future for the region.

As part of the Byford Rail Extension Project, we’ve taken a proactive approach to social impact, working closely with local job network agencies to create meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal participation and increase female representation across the project.
As of October 2024, 6.56% of the workforce identify as Aboriginal, and 11.48% of our workforce are female, contributing across a range of roles from entry level to skilled trades.
This is a particularly meaningful achievement in an industry that has traditionally been male-dominated and one we’re committed to improving even further. Our approach focuses on potential, not just prior experience, and creates pathways for those re-entering the workforce or taking their first step into civil construction.
