Case Study

Tonkin Gap Alliance – Tonkin Gap Bridge Construction

The $290 million Tonkin Gap Project was implemented to address the current bottlenecks where the highway, which carries approx. 120,000 vpd, reduces from three lanes to two lanes in Bayswater and Redcliffe. It is also providing rail-enabling works for the METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook Line along Tonkin Highway. The project runs from Tokin Highway at Collier Road to Dunreath Drive and includes the Guildford Road interchange and crosses the Swan River.
